 Hong Kong Team Claimed a Gold and a Bronze in Singles Event at IBF Para Bowling World Championships 2021
Hong Kong team completed the IBF Para Bowling World Championships 2021 Singles event on 14 November and successfully captured a gold and a bronze medal. WONG Mei Lan in Women’s Singles W1 preliminary round achieved 754 points and took the first spot to advance to final. She then sent the Thai player CHANTIRA Hutinan home 101-70 and bagged the gold. While in Men’s Singles W1, WONG Kwok Cheung and CHAN Tat Kwong ranked the 4th and 12th respectively with 909 and 763 points. Since there was not third place playoff, WONG Kwok Cheung pocketed a bronze for Hong Kong. They are going to take part in the Men’s Doubles W1 event on 15 November.
