Sports Programme Officer (Sports Science and Sports Medicine Support)
The Hong Kong Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (HKSAPD) is a multi-sport national sports association with the vision of Enabling Hong Kong Para Athletes to Achieve Sporting Excellence. We are now inviting candidates with strong passion in Para sports development to apply for the post Sports Programme Officer (Sports Science and Sports Medicine Support)
Major Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate an effective sports science and sports medicine support provisions to athletes to enhance their sporting performance
Work closely with the support providers to ensure proper monitoring on sports science and sports medicine supports
Understand and determine coaches and athletes needs in sport performance enhancement
Coordinate a full spectrum of anti-doping programme to athletes
Plan and coordinate the long-term development pathway of assigned sports (if required) including but not limited to training programmes, local competitions, overseas competitions, venue bookings, recruitment of athletes and coaches, etc
Work closely with respective coaches and athletes and understand their needs in training
Take up any other duties as assigned by the senior management
Requirements
University degree, Sports Science/Physical Education/Recreation Management, or related disciplines
A minimum of 4 years’ working experience is preferred
Working experience in the field of sports science/sports medicine and sports association is preferable
A team player with passion and willingness to learn new scope of knowledge
Able to work under pressure and strong forward planning skills
Good inter-personal and communication skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Strong passion in sports industry and knowledge and experience in Para sports will be a definite advantage

Salary will depend on qualifications and related work experience. Annual leave, Mandatory Provident Fund, medical insurance, and other benefit will be provided.
